Writing an Essay About Does Your Reputation Matter

Writing an Essay About Does Your Reputation MatterYou've been asked to write an essay about does your reputation matter. What is your response? There are many that think it doesn't matter; or, that the person asking the question might have a point. However, others think it matters a great deal and know how to address it.So, does your reputation matter? The question actually means 'What is your public image like?' It might mean that you do a great job at your job but your boss thinks that you don't care enough about his or her welfare, so you're not going to be worth your salary. So, that would be my first response, 'does my reputation matter?'The second answer would be, 'Yes, it does matter because what is the value of my salary? A lot of it depends on my reputation, and that is why you can only get as good of a job if your reputation is good. It is like a shot of adrenaline to people that depend on you for work, money, and their livelihood. People with good reputations do very well at their jobs, and people with bad reputations lose out because they are a drain on society. It's just the way it is.'Therefore, I think your first response should be about what is the value of your public image. Second, you need to be clear in your answer; you do not care about what your boss thinks about you; and third, if you do care about the welfare of the boss, it is imperative that you stand firm. The next question to answer when you are asked does your reputation matter is what are your credentials? If you are a lawyer, doctor, or whatever field, you'll want to state that in your essay, you have this high public image. Again, it all depends on your field, because any reputable field will be willing to publish someone who has a high public image, not someone who has a terrible public image. For the topic of 'does your reputation matter,' I think the most important question to answer is: 'What is the best way to build a reputation?' From my experiences, I know that the best way to build a reputation is to provide the public with something of value that they want. Provide examples of this value, and of course do this publicly so that others can see it. Make your appearance so compelling that others would rather use you than you are using them. This is the best way to establish a reputation. The next question to answer when you are asked does your reputation matter is: What are the benefits to the employer of having a successful employee? Is a career growth, promotion, and/or career development all that the employer wants? Yes, I think so.Finally, the last question to answer when you are asked does your reputation matter is: What are the benefits to the individual who is being asked? So, what is the best way to gain credibility? Well, it is to speak honestly and straight up, not to conceal anything. In this manner, you'll gain credibility, which will eventually build up your reputation.
